Attendance Policy
Absences
Regular attendance is essential for your child's development and wellbeing. We ask that all families notify us of any absence as early as possible, ideally before the child's usual start time.
Excused Absences
- Illness or medical appointment
- Family bereavement or emergency
- Religious or cultural observance
- Pre-approved family holiday
Unexcused Absences
Absences that are not reported or approved in advance are considered unexcused. Repeated unexcused absences may affect enrolment status and subsidy entitlements.
Early Release
If your child needs to leave early, please notify the front desk and provide the reason. Children may only be collected by authorised adults listed on the enrolment form.
Tardiness
Arriving on time is important for your child's routine and social integration. If you arrive after drop-off time, please sign in at reception so educators are aware.
Student's Responsibilities
- Attend all scheduled sessions unless genuinely unwell
- Inform educators if they are leaving early
- Bring required items (hat, water bottle, signed notes)
- Follow the centre's arrival and departure routines
